Yes, our tours are family friendly. In Tokyo, we especially recommend our Asakusa tour, All Star Tour, Kawaii Food Tour in Harajuku or The Flavors of Japan tour. In Kyoto please try the Ponotocho tour and in Osaka the Kuramon Market tour is great with kids!

Yes, we have non-smoking tours available. The Asakusa and Flavors of Japan daytime tours are both non-smoking.

n accordance with Japanese law you must be over 20 years old to purchase and consume alcohol. And if you would like to drink on our tours we recommend you bring an identification card just in case the staff requests proof of age.

Yes, it might possible to change the tour time and place. We do our best to make adjustments but understand it is not 100% always possible. Please tell us at least one week before your tour. If you have booked a PRIVATE TOUR, adjustments are more flexible but changes can only be made with sufficient advanced notice.

Changes to tours and the spots we visit may occur due to schedules of restaurants, public holidays, weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances. Applicable substitutions will be made in this case.

Yes, all of our administration and tour guides can speak English. We now also offer Spanish tours for some of our locations! Most are fully bilingual. We are adding other languages to our offerings as we grow and expand the business. 

Yes, you can make a booking for one guest, but please call or email us as we use a different system for single/ solo travel bookings.

Yes, we have vegetarian menu options available for most (but not all) of our tours; please tell us in advance so we can make the proper arrangements.

Yes, people who have allergies may join the tours; however please keep in mind that we cannot make a 100% allergy free food guarantee since all the food is prepared in the same kitchen. Cross-contamination/ Cross-contact is possible. Most restaurants in Japan are unfamiliar and unable to make provisions for serious cross-contact allergies.

Yes, our tours are LGBT friendly. We love to provide our services to people of all backgrounds and believe that a diverse tour service is the best way to connect with people around the world. We are open to the LGBT community and happy to have tour guests of any gender, sexual identity, race, religion and nationality.  

Out of respect for our other guests and our guides, we must start the tour on time.  There is a grace period of 5 minutes after the tour start time; however if you are not there by the end of the grace period you most probably will be left behind.  As our tours are structured with stops at popular eateries, our schedule is created to arrive at times outside of their peak hours.  Also, we have reservations for certain periods of time.  We must meet our scheduled times to ensure the best tour for everyone.
